Professor Chico Santiago


Chico Santiago is a certified Brazil 021 Black belt instructor and co-owner of the academy. He is a loving husband and father, a retired Senior Chief Petty Officer of the U.S. Navy, and pro mixed martial arts fighter. He has trained jiu jitsu for 15 years.

Professor Jimmy Gibson


Professor Jimmy Gibson is a certified Brazil 021 black belt and the head instructor at the Brazil 021 Jacksonville academy. He is a husband, a father, and an active duty First Class Petty officer in the U.S. Navy. Professor Jimmy exemplifies honor, courage, and commitment in and out of the academy.

Coach Chuck Harrison


Coach Shane Woosley


Shane Woosley has been training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for the past 7 years where he recieved his purple belt from Professors Andre Terencio and Hannette Staack under Brazil-021.  During this time he fought as a MMA fighter fighting in such events as UnCivil War MMA where he was the No. 1 contender and King of Jacksonville where he earned and defended the title belt for the 170lbs division for 2 years.  Shane went on to take over the kids Jiu-Jitsu program at Combat Club where he trains the newest generation of Jiu-Jitsu athletes coaching them not only in submission skills but also life skills.  Shane is also a Marine Corps and U.S. Navy veteran.
